How My Book Got Endorsed by Dr John Demartini at 12:26am
Two months ago, I had one of the worst months of my life.
A routine surgery turned into a life-threatening complication.
That same week, my son broke his arm.
The week after, I lost my cousin to cancer.
Then my son ended up in hospital with a severe asthma attack.
And shortly after that, I learned a colleague had taken her own life.
It was intense. I was physically and emotionally exhausted.
And yet, during this exact period, I committed to writing my book.
Have you ever had moments in life where it feels like something is just meant to happen... even when everything around you seems to be falling apart?
That’s exactly what this was.
Despite the chaos, everything aligned.
I found the perfect editor.
My writing flowed.
I met every deadline—often writing through the night.
Eight weeks later, my book came to life:
Smart Parenting – How to Develop Your Child’s Mindset, Resilience and Courage for the Future of Work
And it didn’t stop there.
The cover design was finalised in one round.
The printer was helpful.
I learned about ISBNs, barcodes, proofreaders—all at just the right moment.
Then during the school holidays (yes... this all happened during the holidays too), a conversation with my mastermind group changed everything again.
They mentioned Dr John Demartini—someone I’d heard of but never explored deeply.
He just so happened to be speaking in town the following week.
I booked two tickets and went with my husband.
That session was like someone had crawled into my mind and finally put words to the message I’d been trying to express for years.
He spoke about helping people own their uniqueness, about alignment, about values—everything I wanted to help parents teach their children.
Afterwards, I briefly spoke with him and thanked him for his work.
And then, I felt it.
That inner knowing.
I had to ask him to endorse my book.
So that night, around midnight, I sent him the first chapter.
Twenty minutes later—yes, twenty minutes—I received a reply.
He said:
“Congratulations. Bravo. I just read through it. In depth.”
And then he said he’d love to endorse it.
This man speaks over 250 days a year to audiences of thousands... and here he was, responding personally to my message.
A few emails later, I received this:
“Dina’s new book Smart Parenting and her vision of the future of work and how we can help children own the magnificence of who they truly are, needs to be read and embodied by every parent.”
– Dr John Demartini, International Bestselling Author of The Values Factor
At 12:26am, my book had its first international endorsement.
Why I’m Sharing This
Because no matter how messy or intense your life feels right now, I want you to know:
Don’t give up.
If you know something inside you can help someone...
If you know your work can serve a bigger purpose...
Keep going.
This journey wasn’t linear. It wasn’t tidy. But it was aligned.
And if this progress was possible for me, in the midst of everything—I know it’s possible for you too.
Most of all, let’s raise a generation of children who believe in themselves.
Because belief is the birthplace of courage.
And the future of work needs courage.
Want to be part of this mission to raise courageous, self-aware, resilient children?
Start by reading Smart Parenting. It’s written for you—the parent who wants to do things differently, consciously, and with heart.
